1. Mic test in Windows audio settings
• Find the Speaker icon in the taskbar, right-click to get your audio options and choose “Open Sound settings”.
• Scroll down to “Input”. In this section, you will see the default microphone device. Now you speak into your microphone to start the Mic test. If you see the blue bar is moving when you are lowering or raising your voice, then your microphone is correctly connected and working.
2. Mic test with Windows built-in Recorder
• Open the Voice Recorder app on Windows 10. If you don’t know where the app is, directly search “recorder” and it’s in the search results.
• Click the record icon, speak into your microphone and then stop recording.
• Replay your recording file. If you hear your voice, then the Mic test is successful.
