Gustavo Dudamel plumbs the depths and daring of the great Romantic’s symphonic cycle in two weeks of programs that include contemporary works reflecting on Robert Schumann’s relationship with composer-pianist Clara, his wife and muse. The Orchestra’s concerts are complemented by two chamber programs: one, at 92Y, featuring three works by Clara, and a contemporary program exploring analogous creative partnerships.
