Updated February 4, 2022

We’re excited to welcome you back to live performances and the 2021–22 season! Due to the renovation of David Geffen Hall, a majority of our 2021–22 season performances will take place at Alice Tully Hall and the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall. Learn more about these venues.

Starting March 1, 2022, all attendees will be required to show proof that they have received a COVID-19 booster shot, based on eligibility determined by the CDC, in addition to proof of vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization or the Food and Drug Administration.

In addition, all audience members attending Philharmonic performances must maintain appropriate face coverings in accordance with current CDC guidelines.

Those not yet eligible for a booster will be able to continue to enter with proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. To be fully vaccinated, an individual must have received either the final dose of a 2-dose vaccine series or the single dose of a 1-dose vaccine 14 days prior to entry. Anyone who is unable to be vaccinated due to disability or religious reasons and those under 5 years of age will receive a ticket refund. For the safety of all audiences, musicians, and staff, we regret that we are unable to offer any exceptions for those who are not vaccinated.

To ensure your experience with the New York Philharmonic is safe, we continue to monitor federal, state, and city guidelines for health and safety. These include, but are not limited to, meeting HVAC system requirements, enhanced cleaning procedures, and providing hand sanitizer.

The safety plan and visitor guidelines are subject to change as federal, state, and city recommendations evolve. Despite the implementation of enhanced safety measures, an inherent risk of exposure to infectious disease still exists. By attending a New York Philharmonic performance, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to infectious disease. Learn more: A Promise to Our Audience
